The UCT GRADUATE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS (GSB) has trained some of South Africa's top business leaders and entrepreneurs, many of whom have gone on to make a huge impact on their organisations and wider society.

The GSB is part of South Africa's leading research university – the University of Cape Town. Founded in 1829, UCT is South Africa's oldest university. It is well known for its leading-edge research and scholarship and enjoys an outstanding reputation internationally.

The GSB offers an exciting and flexible suite of programmes to choose from based on personal needs and career development plans. Core academic programmes include the MBA (available in full-time, part-time and modular format), the Executive MBA, and Associate in Management (AIM) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management Practice (PGDMP). All provide a strong emphasis on personal development and growth, understanding business and leadership in emergent markets and the challenges of transforming organisations. Diversity is important for the GSB and the exciting challenge to be thought leaders stems from the diversity of ideas too. The big challenges that the school equips its students to address include developing sustainable organisations and a keen sensitivity and responsiveness to social issues.

In addition to its academic programmes, the GSB offers a variety of open enrolment executive management programmes that cater to a range of generalist and specific needs and in-house development initiatives which can be tailored to the needs of specific organisations or sectors.

The quality of the GSB programmes is underlined by the school's recent full accreditation by the Council of Higher Education and its international EQUIS accreditation. In addition, the GSB's full-time MBA programme is ranked in the Financial Times' Global Top 100 MBA's – the first programme in Africa to achieve this distinction.
